Now You See It, Now You Don’t?

When it comes to your hair, there’s nothing magical about having it or losing it. The real magic is making it come back again, but it really isn’t magic it all starts with making a phone call for an appointment. As the weather starts to cool down and we are fast approaching Halloween you’re going to see lots of clown costumes wearing masks trying to make bald look funny.  Clowns are funny, but there’s nothing funny when your hair is thinning or worse still when it’s gone. Whether your costume is a pirate, a musketeer, prince charming, or even a rock star, when you are looking for a handsome costume to make you look cool, all the heroes costumes come with hair. It may not be fair, and it certainly is not nice, but the truth is our society says handsome comes with hair.

When you look in the mirror what do you see?

So when you are looking in the mirror is it a trick or a treat.  Having met with thousands of bald men throughout my career, I can honestly tell you the “BEFORE” guys hate their mirror! They peak in the rear view mirror when they are driving or glance at windows when they are walking by buildings. If there is a mirror they peak at it because they want to make sure those few hairs are still in place, but they really hate looking into it too long, because they really don’t like what they see.  The “AFTER” guys are head over heels with their mirror, as a matter of fact mirrors become second nature to them again.  One patient put it perfect, “When you wake up in the morning and you look in the mirror a bad hair day is better than a bald hair day –any day.”  Until you’ve had a transplant and seen the fabulous, natural results we achieve today, you may not grasp the new self-esteem that the “AFTERS” are feeling, seeing and loving.  

Halloween is just the beginning…

Here come the holidays it starts with Halloween, then Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s Eve, Kwanzaa, Work Holiday parties, Family get togethers, Super Bowl Parties, and more. And the difference between the good old days and today is you are going to be seen by thousands of your friends, family and acquaintances and many of their friends through Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat, Websites and more.  How are you going to see them, as BEFORES or AFTERS?  The choice is yours, and as I said before, it all starts with a phone call. Once you make the call that is the first day of having your own natural hair growing back on your head again.
